Best Friends Through Life Experiences
What does it mean to have a best friend since 7th grade?
It means you’ve had a front-row seat to each other’s lives. You celebrate the victories, carry each other through the heartbreaks, and somehow, through every season, you keep showing up.
Hannah and I have shared decades of memories together, and last weekend we experienced one of the sweetest yet—watching her beautiful daughter marry the love of her life. As family and friends shared stories during the speeches, I couldn’t help but think about how every relationship, every chapter, and every person helps shape the story of our lives.
That’s why I often say that people become part of our manuscript. Hannah has been one of the most meaningful chapters in mine.
