When you take on a five-year adventure like writing a memoir, rule number one: choose a publisher who’s patient, supportive, and all-in on the journey with you. Bonus points if that publisher is someone like Scott Ryan—who says, “Come on down,” and then, along with his amazing wife, opens their home so you can record the audiobook and put the final touches on the cover and back cover.
Add in early-morning runs, getting those workouts in, sunshine therapy, and eating really good food (yes… crab legs),
